Affiliate disclosure

Last updated

Den & Iron is supported by our readers. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. This never costs you anything extra, and the price you pay is the same as if you went to the store directly.

How affiliate links work on this site

  • Posts that contain affiliate links say so near the top, before the first link.
  • Buttons and links on product cards that lead to a retailer are affiliate links.
  • We may earn commissions from the retailers and brands we link to, through their affiliate programs.

How we choose what to recommend

Commissions don't decide what we recommend. We only recommend products we'd buy for our own family.

  • When we've used something, we say so and tell you how long and how we use it.
  • When a recommendation is based on research (specs, manufacturer information, and other reviews), we say that instead of implying we've tested it.
  • We include the downsides. Every product we recommend has trade-offs, and we list them.

Free products and sponsorships

If a company ever gives us a product for free or pays us to write about it, we'll say so clearly in that post. We don't currently accept paid posts.
